Removable aligners generally require consistent daily wear according to the prescribed schedule.
Tooth-coloured attachments, elastics or other auxiliaries may be used to improve control of specific movements.
Additional scans and aligners may be needed when treatment goals have not been fully achieved.

When you are ready for an in-person assessment, care is available through myORTHODONTIST Coquitlam. The practice currently lists Dr. Aly Kanani and Dr. Alireza Haerian Ardekani among its orthodontists and offers braces and Invisalign for children, teens and adults.
Wear instructions are individualized, but consistent daily wear is central to removable-aligner treatment. Follow the schedule prescribed by the treating orthodontist.
Attachments and elastics can help the aligners control movements that trays alone may not predictably achieve.
A refinement is an additional planning and aligner stage used when further movement is needed to reach the treatment goals.
